Biography

Rachel Sarrano Winograd (piano/voice/composition) has been teaching music for nineteen years and is a member of the NFMC Springfield Music Club.  She has a MFA in Music Composition from Vermont College of Fine Arts, a BM in Music Composition, and a BA in Theatre from George Mason University. Rachel enjoys writing and performing a variety of genres, but is particularly partial to musical theater and contemporary commercial music.  In addition to teaching privately, she works as an accompanist, composer, lyricist, and writer. Rachel is a member of BMI and The Dramatist Guild. In addition to creative pursuits, Rachel enjoys spending time with her husband, their two children, and the family’s cheeky cat.
